Tonight, we will be eating at the flat again. I'm making goat cheese and carmelized onion ravioli with a simple red sauce. I also picked up a bottle of Barbera d'Asti, a lesser known Italian varietal that is both enjoyable and affordable.

At Leisure in London
Today was a very restful day. We started out late and spent the better part of the late morning and afternoon mostly just walking about the city. We stopped at Foyles (one of the best bookshops in the world), and I happened upon a biography of Thomas Cochrane (the basis for Patrick O'Brian's Jack Aubrey in his masterful novels of Napoleonic sea-adventures. We also took a long work through Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, stopping along the way to sit in the shade and enjoy a glorious late Spring day in England.

How do I not know about Foyles? You spend enough time there, you're going to need that "mostly empty" backpack! :)
Thought you might want to know that J.K.Rowling gave the commencement address at Harvard this year. With a Harvard degree, surely a few graduates have earned the credentials to further study at Hogwarts. Mikey in the West End tonight. Does it get any better? With love, Purcell
